The Law Office of S. Chris Nallie-Courtney opened in 1999. S. Chris Nallie-Courtney, a native of Galveston County and the Mainland area. Chris currently lives and works Friendswood, Texas. She is a proud graduate of La Marque High School (1989).  She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1993 from Texas A & M University (College Station) and graduated from South Texas College of Law in 1997.

What Distinguishes Our Firm

Chris has experience in a number of areas of Law which gives her a unique perspective.  She also possesses a creativity that enables her to attack issues efficiently to her Client’s benefit.

While studying to become a lawyer, Chris worked full-time as a Law Clerk in the 133rd Judicial District Court in Harris County.  This experience allowed her to analyze cases and observe lawyers which benefit her Clients today.  She also gained invaluable experience as a Law Clerk in the legal Department of Union Pacific Railroad defending FELA cases.  Her legal career began in a small insurance defense boutique firm in Houston.  After two years of practice, Chris began her own law firm in order to allow for personal flexibility and to focus on her family. Her entrepreneurial spirit has allowed her the flexibility to assist thousands of people with their everyday legal issues. Now, a mother of two adult children and a seasoned lawyer with 26 years of legal experience, Chris balances life between family and her legal practice. She has dedicated many years volunteering time in local schools and community.
